the first 4 songs had me worried that the production was going to be shaky..but after that it found its footing.....thank goodness
I got four KD/Magic albums over this but it's still good
There's nothing wrong with calling this underwhelming and it still being a good album btw
IDK NY State of Mind 3 is crazy, the beat is sinister.. They are three for three on that NY State Of Mind series.the first 4 songs had me worried that the production was going to be shaky..but after that it found its footing.....thank goodness
most important let a producer that isn't 60 years oldHonestly after this I would like to see a Nas album with some diversity in producers. Let Hitboy, Alchemist, and Madlib produce the next Nas album. Maybe let Knxledge and Conductor Williams do a beat maybe even JPEG mafia. There are a lot of top tier producers in the lane that Nas occupies.
just like when I heard the first NYSOM and was like "ok THAT's why my friends and cousins from New York rep it so hard"
after that I knew this album would be like "here you go nikkas !!"
that crossing sign line was beautiful

Never forgetI'm cautiously optimistic about this, but regardless of what the album ends up being, the complaining that's gonna take place when it releases is going to be unreal
The world may never have seen complaining at this level before

the first 4 songs had me worried that the production was going to be shaky..but after that it found its footing.....thank goodness
