Which is dumb cause “It’s Time” is the clear sports song. lol. Like no question whatsoever.
Definitely. I'm surprised they aren't working that one more. It's clearly the most marketable joint on here

Catchy beat with a familiar sample
Simple concept easy to follow, relatable topic

It would work perfectly in a sizzle reel or sports highlights

Steve Miller is actually credited which tells me that the publishing split on that one might be not ideal...

I put it to the background of a Jordan highlight vid and it went perfect.

Nas is captain of his own ship. It is what it is.

Remember this is the man who made Al Jarraeu of Rap the lead single for Lost Tapes 2 lol. I like the song. I like both Git Ready and Welcome to The Underground. But there were more “obvious” single choices for both projects. Hell Rare as the lead single for KD2 (when Store Run and YKTV were RIGHT there) was a left kind of choice.

Nas is choosing songs that are reflective of who he is as an artist. Some may call it admirable, some may call it foolhardy. It doesn’t matter to me, I like the songs. I just hope we get some videos if Nas himself loves them so much.

This is definitely how they wanted the album to sound, as it's paying homage to a certain era

But some of the beats could've definitely been better. Primo lacked some serious creativity here
Life Is Good:fire: is what Light-Years seemed to be aiming for, and Salaam Remi is somehow vindicated:lupe::ehh:
