U mean My Life Is Real?"What A Life" = Crack cocaine
Definitely. I'm surprised they aren't working that one more. It's clearly the most marketable joint on hereWhich is dumb cause “It’s Time” is the clear sports song. lol. Like no question whatsoever.
I put it to the background of a Jordan highlight vid and it went perfect.Definitely. I'm surprised they aren't working that one more. It's clearly the most marketable joint on here
Catchy beat with a familiar sample
Simple concept easy to follow, relatable topic
It would work perfectly in a sizzle reel or sports highlights
Steve Miller is actually credited which tells me that the publishing split on that one might be not ideal...
Which is dumb cause “It’s Time” is the clear sports song. lol. Like no question whatsoever.
Life Is GoodThis is definitely how they wanted the album to sound, as it's paying homage to a certain era
But some of the beats could've definitely been better. Primo lacked some serious creativity here
is what Light-Years seemed to be aiming for, and Salaam Remi is somehow vindicated

Which is dumb cause “It’s Time” is the clear sports song. lol. Like no question whatsoever.
Man they need to get the FOH with that bullshyt narrative “if you not fukking with Light Years, then you wasn’t a real Hip Hop head in the first place “. Just because it’s so called “real hip hop” don’t always make it great music. That goes for back then and now. And I’m not even saying this album is trash or criticizing Nas because he always delivers lyrically. The general critique has strictly been on production. We love Premier, he’s our GOAT, but the beats on here range from cool to flat out subpar. It’s ok for us to have an opinion if we not feeling something from the greats. This album doesn’t take away from Premier’s legacy as a great.
