I'm under the impression that Sony is simply the distributor. Smart that there is some collaboration with Sony though. It makes it that much easier to access older masters for his Lost Tapes series and maybe more.

Good news, Nas is better off going indie at this stage of his career. Can't wait to hear LT2 and the new studio lp later this year.

just cause thee new branch of thee tree is named after Mass Appeal doesn't make it "independent"..

it would've been dope if Nas had gone truly independent,he could have 100% creative control and sell just off name alone..but tis his life&choice:manny:

i'll still check for his album dough..however,having Future&ASAP Mob on a record named after Mass Appeal:huhldup:

then again some say Guru was bi sexual,i choose to believe it twas slander but maybe i'm just viewing his legacy with colored lenses..
