That dude only listens to grimey ny tales of black on black crime. White ppl love thatSays the guy who obsesses over him on the internet. Lol
On some straight rapping shyt? Big L is far superior to me.Big L isnt better than Lu fukk that golden age, euphoria in the past nonsense and ive listened to Children of the Corn all of his freestyles, Danger Zone etc. No one in De La is a better rapper than Lupe.
I’m really not a mixtape guy, but I do remember peeping some of Lupe’s shyt around the time F&L dropped because I was a fan Nothing after that though. It was cool shyt, but nothing mind blowing. I saw Lupe live too after the Cool dropped. Wack show. Live band.Have you really listened to the fahrenehit series and lupe other mixtapes? Have you not listened to tetsuo and youth? Seriously answer the question

Hip hop isn’t just word puzzles.
So which Lupe album is better than Stakes is High?

My favorite Lupe rap of all time though is the Diamonds remix.
I really thought he had next with that, but obviously he hasn’t lived up to potential.
I own Tetsuo and Youth and have listened to it several times. Like I said earlier it’s a dope album. 3.5 mics. I ain’t mad at 4. The production was too modern for me.

What is this specific YouTube channel breh?breh, for someone who knows his hip-hop and is a fan of lyricism and the golden erahow the hell can you not appreciate the density in lupes work? T&Y 3.5 mics?? that shyt is flawless and is his last album. Lupe like Nas's work, is never appreciated until time passes, i'm still catching wordplay off of f&l the advance. The dude has a YT channel dedicated to breaking down his material. F&L, The Cool, T&Y, Drogas Wave are all classics.
The shyt is bananas bro.

I’m not even a huge De La fan like that but you’d be nuts to not acknowledge the catalog and how nice they were/are on the mic.3 feet high & rising >>>>
Bionix >>>>
Stakes Is HIgh >>>>
Mosaic Thump >>>>
"Sick Of R&B bytches over Bullshyt Tracks, Cocaine & Crack. Which Brings Sickness To Blacks" >>>> "We're all chemicals, vitamins & minerals"
Not to mention there is no Lupe without Dela!I’m not even a huge De La fan like that but you’d be nuts to not acknowledge the catalog and how nice they were/are on the mic.
Do my duty to be useless to the f*ck sh*t

Kendrick Lamar stan #3 in the building yallRidiculous hyperbolic posts like this are why Lupe standom is met with such disgust.
Mural is cool but K. Rino and Canibus both have done the "Lyrical gamut for a song in excess of 8 minutes"
thing to death. The only difference is no one wants to sit and dissect their lyrics because their songs aren't as palatable to brehs
who came into Hip-Hop post Kanye that directly link Lupe fiasco to "Real Hip-Hop" because breh got major label backing when Hip-Hop
was at one of it's most ludicrous and least balanced points in it's history.
It's easy to look like a martyr and lyrical savant when you're in a bubble, put Lupe fiasco in the wider pool of Hip-Hop talent
and breh while great becomes more more....normal.
Aceyalone. Myka Nyne, illogic, Aesop Rock, and many other "Experimental" rappers exist who also push boundaries
on what is lyricism in Hip-Hop.
He's right though. Good analysis. Kendrick is the second coming of Jay.
