To be fair Nasir clocked in at 7 songs but was 28 minutes
King’s Disease 13 songs 38 minutes
It Was Written had 13 songs also but clocked in at a hour
To be fair Nasir clocked in at 7 songs but was 28 minutes
Someone else who agrees breh. Big Sean and whoever that Durk dude is shouldn’t be on a nas joint. Those two tracks and spicy sound so out of place on thisIt’s one of my least favorite beats on the album. 27 Summers is my least favorite.
But Nas was dope on the song with Durk. Then Durk comes in with that mumble rap bullshyt![]()
People sleep on the lost tapes 2. That project is great!!!

. Maybe they will run it back when Kanye get rightQueens Wolf.. My favorite song on Lost Tapes 2.Dope album. The only thing I’ve been missing from Nas these past few albums are those creative joints (I Gave U Power, Rewind, Fetus, etc). I want him to give us one of those.
It Never Ends, QB Politics, Highly Favored, Queens Wolf, Beautiful Life, Lost Freestyle etc etc.Nahh. He vaulted them songs originally for a reason brudda. But hey, at least it's better than Nasir, lol.
Imagine what a focused Kanye could have cooked up with a focused Nas,. Maybe they will run it back when Kanye get right
Hahahah spoken like one of the true “stuck in the 90’s n*ggas”.
believe me fam I felt the same way. Off first listen.
but after multiple listens, I gave in. You gotta agree at the very least, if one of the old school legends is gonna rap over the “n*ggaz in paris” producer’s beats, this is the way to do it. Nas was still spittin knowledge. The 90’s ain’t ever coming back so let’s let em live and appreciate one of our legends still doing it in 2020.

.
There’s literally nothing wrong with the production on this project whatsoever. See. It’s not Nas that’s the problem. It’s the fact that u don’t wanna hear Nas over certain shyt. And that’s fine. But don’t act like that’s a Nas problem. Nas been around 30 years. People have their favorite versions of him. It is what it is.Breh, how can you try and dismiss legit criticisms of ass production by saying cats are "stuck in the 90s"......WHILE LISTENING TO A NAS ALBUM?? He's a 90s artist his damn self.
I will never understand that type of rebuttal. It's the 2020 equivalent of calling people who call out wack shyt for being wack as "haters".
There's a possibility that my opinion of this album may be tainted since I didn't listen to the full album until earlier this afternoon. Wanted to drive around with some good grub to a waterview landscape and just chill and enjoy the vibe like I did the night LT2 dropped, but I was too lazy to cook, lol. So I just took it down last night after listening to just 2 tracks.
And my first impression off this album ain't a good one. Nas's pen game is superb as always. Never has been and never will be an issue. He's a once in a lifetime gem of an MC lyrically.
But the production on this album and some of the choruses are just.
It ain't my cup of tea. I'm gonna give it at least 2 more full spins to see if it grows on me, but I'm at a loss how people are saying this is a better album than LT2.
I'm still bumping the hell out of LT2, it has some of Nas's best work post-Stillmatic on it IMO. But King's Disease? Nah, I don't see it.
