Said it when it came out Hit Boy was producing the album... Nas does better when there’s a good exec producer. Illmatic, IWW, LIG. Even Lost Tapes was put together by a label executive if I remember right. Stillmatic was great but Destiny should have cut the tracklist down.

It was the hype. People were let down. It was a little underwhelming and short but it’s better than SD, Nastradamus and HHID to me. Just have to take it for what it is instead of what you wanted.

I enjoy NASIR but can understand the hate. For me the mixing is the main issue. But from day one, I've been a defender of the album. I rank it last but it's still a solid 3.5 mic album with 2 legit gems on it (Everything and Adam & Eve). The album is not trash my any means.
