Gibbs sound too excited to get on the track with Nas and over did it. Cadence and delivery was far from his smoothest.

Agreed. Doesn’t Nas say in the bonus verse original recording hit the street in ‘93?
He said he doesn't remember the exact details, prolly just threw out '93 for the sake of the rhyme and because it was in the right ballpark. But he references Destiny's birth, and she wasn't born until '94. And generally, Easy Mo Bee's style didn't get West Coast-sounding with the synths and stuff like this beat until '95

I think there was a version on Nas demo in 93 (and there as a Nas demo leaked tape that started surfacing around the early 00s which claimed all the songs were from pre-illmagic with it) but even in the orginal version you find online/youtube for years he shouts out Destiny who was born in 94, so who knows if it was in the Illmatic sessions or the It Was Written sessions. Maybe there was an earlier version

Here is what I am wondering: How does the relative success and hype of this new version of Life is Like a Dice Game, impact future LT volumes?

only die hard fans like yourself and I and others here, really care about future Lost Tapes

whenever Nas drops LT3, it's strictly for his fanbase, and he probably knows that
