it's why I can't watch son's performances. favorite mc ever by far but to me he is awful live, only because he forgets so many bars
Awful? :what:

I've been to several Nas shows and he's far from awful, and many of the people who went to his most recent performances in South Africa and the TriBeCa Film Festival said it was great. I've heard nikkas say Nas/Damian Marley live is an experience. The weakest one I went to was the one at Citi Field which was aight, I hate those type of venues regardless.

Also, yeah he has a teleprompter how many rappers haven't had one? These songs are over 20 years old, Nas has a shytload of material.

but he rapped about having it ( jokingly) in a line :mindblown:

Breh, saying Nas is suffering from Alzheimers disease in a thread title is different from using it in a line referring to yourself being forgetful. But it's ok breh you do you :yeshrug:

To be honest and fair, I don't know most rappers remember the bars they spit, especially the real wordy emcees. Like CurrenSy for instance, I'd be like the Russian chick on the last Indiana Jones film if I attempted to memorize all the lyrics to half of just one of Curren$y's albums. Then you take into account how much they smoke and drink, party, do business, stay out late, etc.. It ain't hard to tell why some of them can't remember their own rhymes.
