don't know how he lost, when he was involved in one of the most talked about hip hop moments in recent memory!!!
and since you brought up jay

no one's perfect!!!

Jay Z fell down but he got back up . . that's what happens when you ride without training wheels.

Disclaimer: I'm not a Jay Z fan or Nas fan, I respect them both - I've seen each of them perform once, Jay Z performed a longer set and Nas was backed by Damien Marley . . I enjoyed each of the shows equally, I preferred Damien Marley to both of them

Bottom line, Nas doesn't spend hours rehearsing his shows. That's what you supposed to do if you want to give people they moneys worth.

Hov rehearses for days at a time before a show according to QuestLove. That's why he rarely slips up.

hey, i like and respect both as well.
have every album from both!!
someone brought up jay while we were discussing nas,
i was just wondering how jay figured in this discussion about nas!!!
and i'll say this - since around 2010/11 nas performances have improved dramatically.
seen him three times in 2011 (distant relatives) 2012(life is good tour) and last weekend(extra cold music festival) - all three times he was superb!!!
to each his own , i guess!!!!

Yeah alot of artist do that. They get tired of performing the same songs over and over again for years so they change the lyrics to spice things up a little

he's probably high as hell cause he usually looks like he needs an oxygen tank on stage too. judging from the pic at least he was performing solo. nothing worse than going to see a rapper and their entourage/crew is yelling out 3/4's of their bars. i can't lie like i'd pay to see him live tho...every video i've seen has been pretty fukking bad.
