Life is all about subtext... White's have an implicit understanding of power and unity. When you truly unified it doesnt need to be explicitly stated or worn on a shirt. Other races have a code, they stick to it and they defend each other whether wrong or right. From Woody Allen, to George Zimmerman, whites will go beyond reason and common logic to rationalize their evils and wrong doings.

No.

I believed he wanted to maximized viewership, hence why he went to Fox instead of Byron Allen and Netflix. And Fox knew they were going to be the ones behind maximizing viewership for his movie, hence why the provided less money. Bryon and Netflix didn't have the capabilities to distribute in theaters.

Why would fox sabotage his film? Fox Searchlight distributed '12 years a slave' did they sabotage that as well? Or did they promote that film to an amazing degree.

Sadly I think some of the convos on here go off the deep end to a place where madness lays. With little understanding of the way things work in stuff like the film business.

To a writer/director film maker, Fox searchlight has an amazing record of choosing and promoting independent film and getting them into a hell of a lot of cinema screens. Which is important. And they also have a very good eye for choosing movies that find themselves in contention for the big film awards 12 years a slave,Birdman, Sideways,Slumdog Millionaire etc
