McDowell's parents wanted him to go OUT OF STATE, there was a quote saying "I don't care if it's Ohio State or Florida State, we want him to leave the State of Michigan...he has some friends that aren't athletes."
Michigan really wasn't a major factor in the race since he wanted MSU and they wanted him to gtfo of Michigan.

Exactly.... That D that Dantonio got is nasty.... If they find a way to get even a top 20 offense, I would make them a very legit darkhorse for the title game.

All in all im satisfied with this class coming off the season we just had. Signed top db's, offensive and defensive linemen, & two top tier qb's.

I already could see that MM's parents weren't going to sign the LOI by everything that has been going on in the media and everything they've said. I think he will end up at OSU.
