I already could see that MM's parents weren't going to sign the LOI by everything that has been going on in the media and everything they've said. I think he will end up at OSU.

Dad is on board. They're working on the mom. Clearly Malik McDowell has ruined his mother's big day...

Also his parents are divorced and there's the idea that the mother is acting like he 'sided' with his dad. I read that his mother didn't even show up for his announcement since she knew he was going Green.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
One thing I will say about Jimbo and staff is that they seem overly optimistic about who were going to get and then the numbers come out looking funny in the light. I think this may actually be a reason our "insiders" are so poor. Jimbo seemingly thinks we're going to get everyone. :pachaha:

Why do they want him out of Michigan so badly? Is dude a football goon on some Willie Williams shyt or something?

Purely assuming right here, but the kid is from Detroit and likely has some friends that "aren't athletes" according to his parents which I'm reading into it as he has some friends that are going down/are down the 'wrong path.'

They want him to be far away from that element.

Sounds like Tally would be perfect.

Kid wants to win...:takedat:

McDowell's parents wanted him to go OUT OF STATE, there was a quote saying "I don't care if it's Ohio State or Florida State, we want him to leave the State of Michigan...he has some friends that aren't athletes."

Michigan really wasn't a major factor in the race since he wanted MSU and they wanted him to gtfo of Michigan.
That's not true. Michigan was the leader for this kid until they had that horrible season. He was their back up for DeShawn Hand. Hoke's staff just blew it this year, and many recruits lost faith. I don't know what the hell is up with our strength and conditioning program. Dudes were looking stronger under Rich Rod while being smaller :smh:. Once it was clear he didn't want to go to Michigan anymore, his parents made it clear that they wanted him out of the state. I don't know what D'Antonio did but it's been buzzing for months that his mom isn't too fond of him.

Correct. I should have worded it that Michigan wasn't in the race at the end. Although, I don't follow recruiting, specifically Michigan recruiting enough to know if they were the leading for MM's services or not. I know at the beginning of the CFB season, Michigan had a lot of recruiting momentum that was slowed down by their shytty product on the field.
