Kid wants to win...

McDowell's parents wanted him to go OUT OF STATE, there was a quote saying "I don't care if it's Ohio State or Florida State, we want him to leave the State of Michigan...he has some friends that aren't athletes."

Michigan really wasn't a major factor in the race since he wanted MSU and they wanted him to gtfo of Michigan.

They wanted him out of the state because he deaded anything that had to do with becoming a Wolverine. MICHIGAN was the parents' first choice all along. This is pretty well known.

That's insane if true. Kid can join the Marines but can't sign where to play in college.

When Malik was thought to be a Michigan lean there was zero talk about wanting him out of the state,in fact this recruitment was quiet as hell.Once MSU became his apparent leader all hell broke loose.They're wolverine fans that don't want him to be in green and white..His mom should just be real and say that instead of looking like a damn fool..

Their parents weren't the ones out there bustin' their ass on the field though.Want to give him some advice regarding schools? Cool.But don't try to dictate where they're gonna spend the four-five years of their life.

There's more to the story .. and most of the MICHIGAN fan base had moved on from Malik months ago. Everyone knew he wasn't wanting to go there anymore.

Of course Michigans fan base doesnt want him in Green and White.. vice versa would be true too.

She spent 12 hours in labor with him, and raised him for 18 years. If she says USC, then he needs to go to USC

It's easy to say when you didn't spend 18 years raising the kid.........but that's the way it goes......Parents are protective and want them to go to the place they think is best sometimes too.......I agree though the kids should be able to choose their school, especially if they are getting a free ride anyway.
