Yep. Nothing else to add here. I mean how do you even debate this and if you do, how do you not lose a piece of dignity even entertaining these dudes?PBS did a series of documentaries on Timothy McVeigh and Ruby Ridge and the connection between those two events. The WS embraced those cultists and their ideology spread to these militia groups. These are people who are firm and set in their beliefs and yet we hear from some quarters that we need to listen to these guys or "engage" as if you can debate someone out of their racism. It seems the assumption is that these people don't know any better or a misled by the media as some people like to claim. They cannot just bring themselves to admit that some people are racist simply because it is who they are at their core, that's their culture , values and norms. It's ridiculous that calling people racists is actually more condemned especially after the election, like being nice to them will ever make them change.
I remember a few days ago reading some comments from white conservatives on that indy star article about republicans reducing early voting options in black districts and increasing them in white suburbs.
Did these white conservatives say this is inherently unfair and that everyone deserves equal access to vote regardless of political affiliation because that is the spirit of democracy?
fukk no. I read stuff like "it's for the best given blacks misuse their votes to vote for democrats and deserve to lose the right ". I've heard this not on this story but after I had some debate with some prick myself who tried to argue voting ID laws are not racist. I broke it down for him and highlighted all the cases about how it was just about ids and actions by republicans to stop black people for voting.
He didn't have anything to say and obviously he was ignorant. But did he say " well I didn't know it included all that. That is bullshyt and wrong". Nah he then proceeded to spout out how it's for the best given how black people vote even though he logically and morally knew it contradicted this idea that black and white people have the same rights and racism doesn't exist anymore which he promotes

That's why I say it's no longer time for debate. These people aren't interested in it. They have a set goal and will achieve it even if they have to twist themselves up into pretzels. They are dishonest. They love to quote MLK to shut black people grievences down, but you back them into a corner the mask slip. They are snakes and liars. They only appeal to equality and fairness when black outline their grievences and take firm sides when "their side" side does the same. They're not preaching the same holding hand ideology to their white brethren.
