Smith is another guy that has that explosiveness and attacking ability that is required of NBA stars. Man, the Lakers botched this draft so bad. So much talent and they took a guy who maxes out as a high end glue guy or maybe 3rd or 4th guy on a contender.

players like Klay Thomposon, CP3, Conley, etc. are stars and dont have elite explosiveness. Klay rarely attacks the basket...but thats a moot point cause Lonzo is a great athlete

Dunn has the wiggle and creativity to be an on ball player but that dribble get's high and loose as fukk. It's easier to fix that than to just not have that creativity in the first place(Lonzo).

Klay's pretty much a 3rd guy on a championship team though. And he's still a better scorer than Lonzo and has a much smoother jump shot. You gotta respect his ability to get his shot against you. Lonzo is a reluctant shooter, and has no scoring instincts. CP3 and Conley can absolutely beat their man off the dribble. Sure they're not Westbrook or Lebron, but they can break a defense down in the half court. Lonzo was not able to in college. If you can't beat your man in college, what are you really gonna do against NBA defenders? Every team has elite athletes defending on the perimeter, can't say the same for college.
