Yeahhhh I take back everything I said about this game. This is the greatest 2K of all time.

I learned how to rhythm shoot and now I can't miss shots.
Yo this is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in a 2K game.
That rhythm shot + quick shot modifier will have these nikkas online scrambling.
I was running Steph off ball and torturing the fukk out of this one guy.
My defense is still kind of trash but when I figure that out it's a wrap.

can’t cap, this is a clear attempt to make 2k a pick and play arcade game. The way everything going to the rim is a dunk and and anything under the basket is a standing dunk is insane.

OKC is so broken in this game. It’s like the game actively cheats for them..
Houston is mad annoying too. You already know when someone picks Houston they’re just gonna start throwing up trash with KD. And why does this guy Amen Thompson defend and cover the court like Pippen mixed with Wemby?

I’m curious. What is his standing dunk rating on the game? Could be a ratings issue where they gave him too high of a standing dunk rating. I know the people who do the ratings on this game are trash. The past few years, they’ve been giving players like Luka a 75 dunk when he has like 1 dunk a year, or Joker with a 90 standing dunk rating when he barely jumps.

If you go edit a player you can see their individual standing dunk rating. You can also edit the standing dunk rating in global sliders. I haven't touched either so no clue what they are on default. I know I shot two fast break 3's, missed them, brunson grabbed both and instantly went back up with two hands like prime shaq against a white center

I know. I don’t have the game, but I was just wondering what Brunson’s standing dunk rating is. On 2k25, his driving dunk rating is 35 and standing dunk is 40. The funny part about it is Brunson actually does dunk in real NBA games sometimes, but he can’t dunk on 2k25 with either rating. However, if those ratings were reversed, he would at least be able to do a driving dunk.

So basically I was wondering if on 2k26, did they raise his dunk ratings to give him that ability to do standing dunks? If he still has the same 35 and 40 ratings and he’s still dunking, then that’s a bigger issue.

Still gotta lower the global speed sliders to make the pace seem less cartoonish, but once you find a sweet spot then it really captures how superstars like Rose and Wade use their first step and bounce off 2 feet. This 2009 MyNBA looking nice, had the most stars at once.
