North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Philadelphia tanked so fukking hard just to be a fringe contender for like two seasons. If they eventually move simmons that's like two number one picks they fizzled out that's horrible.

2013 - Nerlens Noel - gone (passed on Giannis)

2014 - Joel Embiid

2015 - Jahlil Okafor - gone (passed on Booker)

2016 - Ben Simmons - passed on Ingram and Murray

2017 - Markelle Fultz - gone (passed on Tatum, Fox, Mitchell)

they drafted centers 3 years in a row :scusthov:

I’m saying they did what y’all wanted them to do (add more shooters). They’re off to a good start. He’s able to do stuff on that team that you can’t rely on anyone else to do consistently, but if it doesn’t work it’s all Ben’s fault?

And if Lonzo Ball could play defense the way Ben does he woulda received a contract extension.

he needs to fix his scoring in the paint and ability to make free throws before he ever needs to worry about outside shots you don’t really want him taking.
That's the thing though, he's a PG that has good defense because of his Size and speed but can't do what any other PG in the league can do, score in the paint, shoot FTs, AND have any semblance of an outside shot...

Not saying he's a bad player but the exec ain't lying about him. He hadn't improved at all

This guy is so frustrating. The not shooting from the perimeter is one thing but to me him not being a 20 ppg scorer at this point is disgusting. With his athleticism he should be getting 20 easily :scust:

All he needs is to add two more trips to the fouls line per game..............but he can’t shoot free throws

If he know this and he that he refuses to add to his game, then the standard isn't unfair. His criticism is deserved.
The criticism of not improving his offensive game is fair. The idea that it negates the rest of his game which is very impressive is bullshyt. The prevailing opinion of Simmons is “who cares if he can play defense, score in spite of his jumper, rebound and orchestrate an offense? Because he can’t shoot the way his entire supporting cast does, he hurts the team.” It speaks to what I said first which is “defense is a dirty word.”

He needs spacing and shooters and have the offense run through him. Embiid is the focal point of the 76ers offense and their games don't mesh.
