He abuses the gray area of nikkas not giving a fukk in the regular season:laff:he's a bum without embiid

Why oh why did they iso him over and over for him to pick up his dribble and look around for some help:mjlol:

:hhh:at comparing him to an actual basketball hooper like mitchell

I told y'all what he was during his rookie season:mjlol:

Another example of defense being a dirty word.

It’s amazing the standard that Ben Simmons is held to. I almost feel bad for him.
At this point, he's becoming vastly underrated. I'm not a huge fan of his game but some of the takes on him have been ridiculous

I really hope Ben Simmons could tune out this BS :martin:

They're currently one of the top teams in the east. They still have Joel embiid and Tobias Harris.

Shake Milton is averaging like 13 Off the Bench

They have Seth Curry, Danny Green, Dwight Howard, etc.

They also have a rookie guard that has been averaging about 15-20 per game since he became a starter.

This man has enough Talent around him that he can win games without forcing shots. I know the concept is new to most NBA fans these days:krs:

Ben is a jumper away from being one of the best players in the league.

The issue is, the Philly front office coddles him and doesn't put the pressure on him to expand his game. Philly is better with him there, and their core unit is mad strong, so there's no real push for him to expand his skill-set. His shooting is the one thing that's stopping him from really taking that team to the next level. He's only 24, and in his 4th season. Dude's averaging 8 assists a game throughout his career, at like 6'10. And he doesn't shoot, but he's still averaging a little over 16 points a run, with a little over 8 boards on average too. Ben is still the truth. Does he need to shot more? Of course, but he has time. The first few seasons of your career are when you work on those things you might be missing. The shot will come. He's checked every other box.

'The shot will come' Something mentally is up with Ben it's not like Fultz who just fukked up his form for whatever reason or Zo who had to change his form. Even with these issues these guys would still shoot. Simmons won't. It's much deeper than just adding a skill to his game.

Sixers need to trade him before his value goes down even further.

I'm sure it's probably some anxiety type of thing with him because now the focus is definitely on how he doesn't shoot. So it's something we all focus on now. And that's probably why he shies away from it. It's not the strongest part of his game. But they're going to have to address the issue sooner or later.

Zo and Fultz are guards though. They're expected to shoot. Ben does a lot of other things really well on the floor, so he doesn't have a lot of pressure on him to carry those other loads. At his size, he's doing things that other dudes can't do. So trading him wouldn't make sense. Even without the shot, he matches up nicely against other 4's and 5's. So they're not going to move him. But I do think he needs to push on expanding the skill-set. That would just make him even more dangerous out there.

Not know basketball history and talk about trading the next gen era manifestation of magic.
before he developed a fire j and norm nixon was moved to make magic the pg.
Plus defacto leader of the lakers.

The problem is the lack of bball iq and history with a real coach to ramp ben.
Plus doc rivers will be exposed. If he does not ramp ben. Into magic after norm nixon was moved and pat riley takes/took over. This convo and smoke is for the avatar pg dominate based dc rivers to fix. As rivers allegedly gave the keys to rondo after the o8 season.
as a now jump shot perimeter scorer and team leader.
that alienated rey rey jesus shuttlesworth.
a real top pedigree in skill and execution era sg.
So this is on, doc rivers. If doc fails to ramp ben.

This is on doc rivers. Plus imo drops doc's value in legacy as a coach realistically.
to exactly back to where he was before the big three.
Where now the doc rivers critiques are now actually warranted.

This is all SOLELY ON DOC RIVERS.

doc do yo cot damn job breh.
No more of the hating on superstar shyt. Since you were never on mike level as a pro. That you hate on any backcourt superstar. That can eclipse his days as a player and pg and leader. When really doc as a pro.
was never the chi goat like him, tim and zeke jealously think they are.

I don’t think he’s any better offensively than he was as a rookie and that’s concerning. He wasted a year or two having his brother act as his shooting coach. I think almost getting traded will be a wake up call for him. The team needs more than him being Australian Rondo..
