Until he gets a decent jump shot he'll always get shutdown in the playoffs, teams will just pack the paint, the fact he's been league and still hasn't develop one is telling not saying he needs to be Steph but damn at least have something opposing teams gotta respect to create space.

Not know basketball history and talk about trading the next gen era manifestation of magic.
before he developed a fire j and norm nixon was moved to make magic the pg.
Plus defacto leader of the lakers.

The problem is the lack of bball iq and history with a real coach to ramp ben.
Plus doc rivers will be exposed. If he does not ramp ben. Into magic after norm nixon was moved and pat riley takes/took over. This convo and smoke is for the avatar pg dominate based dc rivers to fix. As rivers allegedly gave the keys to rondo after the o8 season.
as a now jump shot perimeter scorer and team leader.
that alienated rey rey jesus shuttlesworth.
a real top pedigree in skill and execution era sg.
So this is on, doc rivers. If doc fails to ramp ben.

This is on doc rivers. Plus imo drops doc's value in legacy as a coach realistically.
to exactly back to where he was before the big three.
Where now the doc rivers critiques are now actually warranted.

This is all SOLELY ON DOC RIVERS.

doc do yo cot damn job breh.
No more of the hating on superstar shyt. Since you were never on mike level as a pro. That you hate on any backcourt superstar. That can eclipse his days as a player and pg and leader. When really doc as a pro.
was never the chi goat like him, tim and zeke jealously think they are.

Hey joe...
Ya on the clock,....Doc.
Feels like watching WWE scripted show where some of the talent gets buried in order to push others as champions.
Embiid and Simmons is a championship potential, but they keep hiring coaches and GM's who don't know what they are doing, to the point where they more interested in sabotaging the sixers rather than making them look great.
Doc Rivers is in retirement mode collecting paychecks, he even considered retiring few years ago. I don't know how stupid the sixers had to be to hire unmotivated coach like him. There is no way doc turning them into championship contenders, he's just collecting a paycheck at this point, he quit on the clippers last year also.

hasn't improved and yet improved his award status :unimpressed:
outside of lebron i don't think any 24 yr old has been held to these kind of champion or bust standards
people keep using this success in the playoffs narrative like it's a long list of young players winning shyt. Simmons is sitting home watching the finals like 90% of the other players :dead:
"success in the playoffs" is hard as fukk and most of these young players ain't even getting there consistently to begin with.

agreed.

That eastern seaboard media is also the issue too.
As philly starts to emulate boston's snarky pr attitude in pr. While absolving anyone in coaching or power of blame. Just no lack of accountability. While actually getting players who ramped their org. Into what if all time fables. That are completely left out the narrative.

My Pops Forever RIP
We’re in year 4 :mjlol:. He’s running out of excuses if he’s supposed to be a high lever player.
He’s a high level player now.

the lack of an outside jumpshot keeps him from being top 5 no question. Saying that it keeps him from being a high level player is saying that whatever elite skills he does apply are meaningless.

Yeah, and Sixers have not been relevant since the 80s. Other than one season where AI took his team to the finals, they couldn't even surround him with a good roster and they hired a coach who had Larry Ayuso and Carlos Arroyo beating NBA all stars in Olympics, top 3 WOAT L in Team USA history. Sixers are supposed to be one of the higher market teams yet they look like a small market shyt show.

Sixers fukked it up drafting Fultz over Tatum.

I think Ben Simmons needs to just play PF and stop trying to be a PG and maybe his stock will go up. He's not a true PG but a big man that can pass and make plays. Philly needs a PG and a few other pieces to take it to the next level but as they are now they're just a playoff team.

I like Ben Simmons but he's been slightly overrated and overhyped as the next LeBron :duck: but when will that happen? He's been in the league for about 5 or 6 years now. LeBron has been LeBron since his rookie year improving each season.
