Okay. But I'd imagine vs cable tv and regular rabbit ears, the YT TV subscriptions are very low. And how many of those subscribers are interested in sports in general. I know a lot of people only sub YouTube tv during the Fall for football and pause after that.

there's not enough star power in the league. Why everyone runs from this reality is crazy. Those days might be over because the league is incapable of producing even a Caitlin Clark-esque figure.

To make it worse, there's a GENERATIONAL superstar in the draft every year, which cheapens the word.


The NBA is witnessing the carnage they set up by convincing basketball fans that only 5-6 teams are worth your time. Now, it works internationally, but internationally, whether it's soccer or basketball, only a handful of teams are worth your time too, so they're used to that. We tend to tune shyt out when our team is out.


None of these youngins aee appealing to y'all now that y'all know so much about them.

Thing is time keeps moving.you gotta go with who you got even during a down time...

Bad Ratings no shock. Game was good though.

ehh, not really. Only the end and many people probably checked out by certain time. Talked to my pops and he went to bed because OKC held indy at arms length all game long.. Obviously we know not to write them off but since nba doesnt put teams on tv like that other than lakers gsw boston then majority have no real interest in players they never saw before.

Ending was good tho.. 10+ lead thru out game doesnt keep most interested because okc seemed more on verge of blowing game out than anything else.

Baseball ran into this situation a while ago where it felt like the players weren't being featured. There was no connection and surprise! There was talk over who was the face of baseball.

For all of baseball's faults, there's players now that fans wanna see regardless of whether they speak English or who they're fukkin (helps Skenes but fans who watch Skenes watch him for his abilities) and as a result, more people are watching.

Does it help that both the Yankees and Dodgers are really good? Sure, but the Dodgers have been really good for a long time and it's only now that it reflects on the bottom line.

I hadn't watched much of either team in the playoffs. So I enjoyed the game. I know Thunder had big leads at times. But man the Pacers just had no fear. My boy was who is this create a player that keeps hitting these clutch shots talking about Nembhard.

1. How many of you on here have a Nielsen ratings box tracker on your tv? I'd guess no more than 1 person, if any of you. Do we need to explain again how this works and is wildly inaccurate numbers?

2. The highlight video on YouTube has over 3 million views already. People are interested.

3. I'd be interested to know how many YouTube TV STREAMS they had.

4. Who gives a shyt. I'd rather see a game like last night than a boring ass Lakers-Knicks finals with a giant ratings number, which really doesn't mean anything
