This is retarded. It's two small market teams....of course it wasn't gonna do huge numbers. All that matters is that they put on a great show, and they're currently doing that. People are just looking at this shyt the wrong way. If it was two big market teams doing double the ratings it wouldn't have changed anything as far as regular seasons numbers go.

Two small market teams giving us a classic finals. All of a sudden you got two more small cities doing bigger numbers all year. Selling more merch. Higher ticket prices. More endorsements. More revenue overall. Means way more in the long run than two big market teams doing big numbers in one series.

My point is that you can say anything on here. In real life you could've watched the entire game from start to finish, but then hop on here and say you forgot about the game until the ESPN notification. The ratings numbers speak for themselves. The added hyperbole kills your stance and sounds forced.

ESPN has spent the last 15-20 years covering the NBA like TMZ covers celebrities so it’s not surprising that we have segments of fans who don’t know how to enjoy the league without the chatty patty aspects
