There are too many commercials in both sports but the flow isnt disrupted in football as there's always stoppages in play. Between tv timeouts and each team getting what 7 timeouts each its too much and they all hoard them till the last 2 minutes. Its the reason why you can tune into a playoff game for the final 2 minutes and not miss anything.
