It used to be that having a good to great career was enough they wanted to win back then but now....

The fans and media are counting rings more than back then makes these guys do crazy things like looking elsewhere and wanting to get traded or leave the team that drafted them.

Look at Barkley he cannot have a day where him not winning in not brought up.

These players today do not want to end up like those guys I think the media putting fire to these guys is mostly to blame. Shoot Lebron could not even smile before he won one no Howard has the same Thing going on to a lesser extent.....(But for some reason Chris Paul do not get that pressure)

This winning by yourself thing is out of hand no one does this you need help coaches rebounders shooters etc....SOMEBODY else has to hit a shot or grab a rebound you cannot be every where....Im just talking about the pressure to win one is so much bigger than before it is causing a shift in player movement.

NBA is a star driven league- If you cant lead your team to a 'ship, its now becoming a direct reflection of your talent/leadership skills/hunger. Real talk

AP will never have to win a 'ship and people will still recognize him as a top 5 RB of all time, no questions asked. Because one football player cant right the entire ship.


Basketball on the other hand, with only 5 players on the court, the finger pointing is a lot easier to do. No one wants that on their legacy

True but when you keep going at a way better built team what you gonna do? Score 35-40 points and still lose? Thats draining on the body and mind....but Im seeing the pressure is crazy unlike I never seen during the 80's it was just the Lakers and Celtics for TEN damn years the other teams did not have a chance in hell.
