My Pops Forever RIP
There’s no better fit than Seattle, they’re a basketball city through and through. They will support a team even if it never wins. They got scammed out of their last team.
that stopped being true near the end.

I get why the NBA wants to relocate, but if the solution is Vegas, they're gonna run into the same problem, only Vegas appears more fun than black cities to all involved.

Welcome the Grizzlies to St. Louis like they were supposed to do originally when they moved from Vancouver. :blessed:

We were so hyped back then when I was in high school thinking we were about to get a team. :mjcry:

Now we have to wait after Seattle and Vegas before we even have a chance. :mjcry:

That’s why I just said fukk it and remained a Laker fan for life. :wow:
St. Louis can't keep any professional sports team except the baseball Cardinals. Y'all lost the Hawks, the football Cardinals and the Rams, even though the Rams never had any business being there.

New Orleans is just as bad. They lost the Jazz and Hornet.

The Grizzlies will just end up moving to Nashville.

I will never understand why the Raiders left Oakland and the Chargers and Clippers left San Diego. Oakland and San Diego had great fans just like the Supersonics did in Seattle.

Raiders left because the old stadium was a dump.

Mark Davis is not rich enough to pay for a new stadium and the city of Oakland didn't want to pay for a new stadium.

Yea.

Los angeles will never EVER care about the rams more than St louis did. Even with the recent superbowl. They arent a beloved component of local identity like the lakers and Dodgers are. They had that relationship with st Louis though

And all that is worthless jus considering the jump in value from leaving st louis for los angeles though lol
:why:

Broah the Rams had been in Los Angeles since 1946, before that prostitute moved them to small market ass St. Louis. The Rams were huge in LA to the point that when I lived there 20 years ago people were still following the Rams; even though they had moved to St. Louis. So I knew way back that it was only a matter of time before the Rams moved back to LA. I live in Nashville right now and I think the Grizzlies will relocate to Nashville at some point just like I knew the Rams would eventually move back to L.A

On a side note St. Louis couldn't even keep the football Cardinals or the basketball Hawks. The goofiest part is that the Cardinals were in St. Louis for a longer period of time than the Rams were in St. Louis. The Cardinals were in St. Louis for almost 30 years after they left Chicago and what is wild is that older people still refer to the Arizona Cardinals as the St. Louis Cardinals. Y'all couldn't even keep those bums. So stop it.

Yeah I remember the reasons, but that team and city were great together.

Mark Davis wanted to go back to LA but the Rams owner didn't want to share with the Raiders. So they agreed to work with the Chargers.
Which is the craziest shyt. The Chargers are only tenants in that Stadium. They have to be planning at some point to go back to San Diego if the City builds them a new stadium, because Qualcomm was old.

When the decision was voted on and made for the Rams to return to LA, Mark Davis didn't say a word and was fine with the decision because supposedly Jerry Jones, on that same day, pulled him to the side and told him to sit tight, because they were getting Las Vegas.

Jerry Jones has a company called "Legends Hospitality" that takes care of stadium concessions at numerous venues across the country. Part of the deal with the Rams going back to LA and the Raiders to Vegas is that Legends Hospitality scored the contracts to run concessions at SoFi and Allegiant Stadiums, which they ended up getting.

That wasnt some pro st louis post.

And im aware of the Rams history in LA. Even with that considered theyll always be 3rd place out there ...and that could even drop some slots depending on how Usc and ucla doin. They aint got that kinda relationship with the city

All I hear is that Vegas is dying and The Strip is empty on weekdays. I think a lot of the Vegas talk has cooled. If the A's actually move there what expendable money is left to support a NBA franchise? A lot of tourist are staying away from Vegas, too expensive now they say. Unless things change, I don't see Vegas as a no brainer anymore. Not even sure if Seattle is still on the table. Weaker economy and the Sonics would have to compete with the Seahawks, NHL's Kraken, U Washington Football which has grown bigger over the years. Maybe I'm wrong tho
You forgot Seattle’s MLB local team, the Mariners.

Compete? Breh climate pledge arena literally has a currently unused separate locker room for an NBA team.

This is NOT the NHL home or visitors, or the WNBA locker room, or concerts. They're ready.

The sonics would automatically be bigger than the Seahawks in yr 1, UW forever, and the kraken forever. We'll see regarding.nba after but why does that matter..?

Seattle is a very, very healthy market. Significantly.more than when they left.

Logistically, economically, and PR Seattle is easily the best choice
