The pelicans for sure are a complete failure as a franchise.

The market isn’t good and it’s a really bad place for young Black men.

NBA gotta cut their losses and get the fukk outta there, ASAP

I’d move Memphis too, but N.O is in a category by itself as a terrible NBA market. No disrespect to my bout it, bout it bruhs

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
do yall think a pro basketballl team could do well in kentucky/cincinnatti area?
Louisville, yes, would likely be a resounding success.

Cincinnati, no, would oversaturate the market. Cincinnati already hosts the MLB, MLS, and NFL. The smallest 4-league city is Seattle and its twice the size of Cincinnati. Adding the NBA to Cincy has the same oversaturation risk that adding NBA to Vegas or Nashville has. These are "big cities" in a general sense, but not in a specific sense where size matters---->like the ability to successfully host 4 major sports leagues.

Los Angeles County, California…
Pelicans goes to Seattle and becomes the Supersonics again

Memphis can go back to Vancouver but they will need to do a lot of work with trying to get the franchise to work..

If not I think the NBA would go with Vegas

Louisville has an NBA ready arena in the Yum center but the problem is Louisville doesn’t have the disposable income/industry/ population to carry a NBA team. there’s no real industry there for young professionals (a significant number of the college grads leave the state upon graduation) and the blue-collar population there only cares about college basketball.

Cincinnati would probably fare better as they’ve already proven they can support two pro teams. However the two pro teams they support are also notoriously cheap and they probably have to be given that Cincinnati does not have booming industry either. Building a state of the art arena there would probably be an issue due to the meager tax base.
