I hope the nba does like an event for this
And one hour bios on nba tv
That would be fire.

Or at least a 30 minute show to educate people on these players. It would be the first time the NBA would acknowledge its past.

Also, I don’t understand why Billy Cunningham being taken off the list by many people. Man was a 24 and 12 player before he tore his ACL.

I also wonder if someone like Gus Johnson sneaks on to the list.

I keep seeing the following names.....

Melo
Vince
TMac
Dwight
And Lillard too

Are all laughable, too debatable, questionable, however you wanna slice it. They're not getting on. Not enough meat on those bones. :mjlol:

My next in, but could see fukkery coming, are....

Manu, Nash, and Parker, and Pierce...however all should qualify IMO
Dwight is one of the best centers of all time, and was the best in his era.

He not as good as Shaq, but there are a lot of analogies between Howard’s dominant era and Shaq’s dominant era.

I mean if your all time list is 20 centers then yeah Dwight might be like...17 on that list...

I do think Dwight was underrated...people don't like his personality and his fred flinstone post moves but dude basically averaged 20 14 and 2 for 4 years. He is one of the GREATEST post defenders in nba history though. Only post defender I'm putting over Dwight no questions asked is Duncan and that's cause Duncan was pretty much a top 5 post defender from his 1st game until his last one :russ:.

Coming back from that back injury to early when he was on the lakers ruined him. He lost a noticeable amount of explosion and athleticism. James harden didn't do him any favors in houston either where they did everything they could to NOT give Dwight the ball:mjlol:

Why do people keep saying Vince carter? Because of his dunking?

Vince Cater played way more games than Paul Pierce yet he has fewer career pts/rbs/asts/blks/stls.

If there is any one player that should be in that played primarily in the 00s not named Duncan, Kobe, Dirk or Garnett itsfreaking Paul Pierce. Even over guys like Iverson and T-Mac. Fun fact, Iverson has more career FGA than Pierce but less career points :dead:

Pierce scored the third most points in the 00s won a chip and finals mvp yet nikkas is talking bout some fool Vince Carter :mindblown: :dead:

Moses
Shaq
Wilt
Kareem
Robinson
Olajuwon
Ewing
Issel
Cowens
Lanier
Mikan
Russell
Unseld

Those are the only 13 I think you definitely put over Howard.

Bill Walton was better in terms of talent but the injury. And Robert Parish and Dwight Howard are the same to me.

I think Embiid and Jokic will blow past Howard, if they stay on their current trajectories.

Has anyone actually named 75 yet? Hard to claim there's gonna be snubs/inclusions if you ain't even counting them up.

Not going to lie I count about 15 off quick glance that's definitely going to be erased.
Well there hasn't been 25 all-time greats since '97. I could be wrong
There's gonna be somewhere between 5-10 players from the old list that are gonna get bushed.

There's gonna be some crazy snubs from today's game too. Watch they mess around and leave off dame dolla.

Maybe 5...and that's a stretch. No way there's 10 they remove. Dame & AD are probably the 2 current snubs...but there aren't that many from current...not in the twilight of their career

Regardless of who is actually better, NBA ain't gonna erase 50s/60s players who were dominate in their era. Paul Arizin and Bill Sharman weren't that good but they got too many accolades in their era to omit them unless the NBA starts saying the 1950s don't even count anymore.

Here are the 30 modern players off the top of my head who might make the list:

Bron
Kobe
Duncan
Dirk
CP3
Durant
KG
Payton
Wade
Dwight
Harden
Curry
Iverson
Nash
McGrady
Webber
Vince
Dikembe
Webber
Pierce
Ray
Kidd
Yao
Melo
Westbrook
Giannis
Kawhi
Dame
AD
Jokic

10 snubs from the OG list who might make it now: Wilkins, English, Gilmore, King, Dantley, McAdoo, Moncrief, Dumars, Rodman, Miller

5 of the weakest on the OG list.....DeBusschere, Thurmond, Wilkens, Parish, Worthy

Assuming the 45 OG's I didn't name are all staying, then only 30 of those 45 can make the 75 list. Gotta erase 15 of the names I wrote. Who is it?

Off the top, I wouldn't include DeBusschere, Wilkens, Miller, Dumars, Dikembe, Webber, Vince, Ray, Yao, Dantley. Need to cut 5 more....perhaps Parish, Worthy, Dame, King, and Moncrief?

Edit: Looking at my own list wondering if it was unfair to assuming Rodman but leave Ben Wallace off completely....throwing Wilkens, English, McAdoo, etc. all on there might be biasing towards scorers a lot...

No trolling but that's dead ass exactly how Alex Caruso looks when he dribbles :dead:

And Caruso just won Bron a ring only a year ago so I'll give Cousy a pass:youngsabo:

ok that last statement was trolling but only a little bit:lolbron:
