At that point its more about the team down 0-3 not wanting to get swept and the team up 3-0 wanting to get rest then it is about the fans.

I don't agree with OP but I definiely wish the first round was best of 5.

Answer to this would be to just go back to a best-of-5 for the first round, so at 3-0 its over.....

In almost 70 years of the league the team that is up 3-0 has won 100 % of the time...

Its clear as to who the better team is at that point so the close out game is completely unnecessary and just a money grab...

One of these days a key player is going to get injured and the (0-3) team will come and back the rest of the playoffs will be ruined out out of pure nonsense.
