At $15-16/year? Nah, with the way the cap is about to jump up, that's nothing.

Even worst case scenario at 4/$80 million, Kobe's coming off the books after next season and the Lakers would probably have about $50 million in cap space plus Randle and whoever they get in the top five this year.

Regardless of the cap stimulus package I don't believe he is worth that type of money. I think dude is somewhat more dynamic in a free flowing offense.

Regardless of the cap stimulus package I don't believe he is worth that type of money. I think dude is somewhat more dynamic in a free flowing offense.
Lakers are gonna have more talent next season and Kobe will probably miss most of training camp. I'd be surprised if the offense wasn't tailored around him.
