At $15-16/year? Nah, with the way the cap is about to jump up, that's nothing.

Even worst case scenario at 4/$80 million, Kobe's coming off the books after next season and the Lakers would probably have about $50 million in cap space plus Randle and whoever they get in the top five this year.

Regardless of the cap stimulus package I don't believe he is worth that type of money. I think dude is somewhat more dynamic in a free flowing offense.

They have holes at every position, I don't see how they're going to improve that much and the West will still be good next year.
