That’s how the NBA takes over the NFL. Somehow get your fans interested in the last man on the bench. The NBA best half time show makes funny of not educating their selves on lesser known players. That a mistake. Like I said casuals take their lead.

NFL has great ratings for the final days of the draft. people tune in at record numbers.

It’s a catch 22.

Yeah I agree with that.

inside the NBA is a casuals show. Casuals take their opinions and run with them. They’ve dumbed the discussion down more than they even needed to just outta laziness.

yeah rings are apart of the argument but so is context( probably more so). Context you only get from watching games, which Chuck has admitted to not watching.

what I’ve noticed is that on occasion he will big up some role players he liked from his time that he knows to be better than perceived. But when it comes to current role players... If they hadn’t showed out in their TV game they don’t know them.

the more I think about it the more clownish it seems.
True. Chuck will big up a role player from yesteryear that played themselves into an all star role. And that’s the only way Chuck will know about him.

Make them know your name.

Just like this weak ass writer.

Who talking.
You ain't did shyt to garner talks from someone actualized.

How dare a peon sports writer talk about an NBA player not knowing another one.

Especially when said player ain't dunked on no one literally and proverbially.

If he don't take his ol i got a degree to write consolation participation badge ceremony face ass tha fukk on. I grow tired of sportswriters cause none of them really grassroots to talk shyt about nobody or critique no one frfr. Plus they not adept at another culture to come speak on basketball culture.
So why or how do they get allowed a platform.
to talk a bunch of unactualized colonizer misappropriated conjecture about a sport we know they not nice at. While Having resources. Then think that silver spoon college receipt based nepotism and signifying. puts them in some driver seat. to criticize actualized real tv personalities. Who are actually an actualized draw in their industry from grassroots application and execution. The shyt a cot damn joke and the more i see these unactualized nongrassroots college beat summer day camp writers. In the age of the internet i can not stand it.

Real talk,....
I am the real actualized black style dave Meltzer of this NBA hiphop culture commentary shyt. In that I don't remember nobody flanking me. Nor did i see them there. when i was flanking legends in pillars of my culture. Or writers who were culturally endorsed. Then segueway that into actual hoop talks.

I don't remember none of these writers.
Plus i know they never piece'd or bombed't shyt.

So i be wondering how do they have a job. Besides a corporate handout. based on nonactualized conjecture and a receipt from college called a degree.

Brolic... Alcoholics
One dude complaining.....and a couple more chiming in is thread worthy?

Charles and Shaq barely speak comprehensible English...people tune into that show for the laughs and highlights....

Nobody is being forced to watch

And not just that but they had a full segment about James Harden in which they were serious as hell. After that it was time to cut loose.

Sound sound sound
Don’t they get Emmy nominated like every year lol

They ain’t trying to break down the game to a deep level

Even the part where Kenny runs to the big screen is moreso focused on whether or not shaq is gonna race him to get there first..as opposed to the actual highlight, which they just breeze by :russ:

He's right, not a good look for a broadcast partner to present the game that way. You would never see an NFL broadcast with host/commentators saying they don't know the players or saying current players aren't good and/or not to watch the game like Shaq/Chuck do on the regular.

I agree with him too. There's a certain level of professionalism that a lot of broadcasters have always strove for where you put in that work to get their names right, memorize part of their backstory, know how they've performed recently, etc. I get that Shaq/Barkley are making jokes but do you have to be ignorant to make a joke? Someone tell me honest cause I don't watch their shyt - do they look like they spend any time on their profession outside the studio or are they just walking in and winging it or reading prepared shyt?
