This is a terrible point.

NBA fans are the lowest common denominator because they want to be stupid.

Do you listen to those podcasts? Do you think people who stan this show listen to those podcasts?
I guess. I just never take them seriously at all:yeshrug: they’ve been doing this for years now. It’s literally won them awards. I wish people would name actual journalists that they like instead of shytting on this show which I have no problem with anybody doing.

nikka nobody who covers the NBA knows every single player’s name. The fukk are you talking about?!

you think Zach Lowe or Bill Simmons knows every single player on every team?

why do y’all put that crazy ass expectation on the TNT crew :what:

Y’all acting like they didn’t know who Steph, Joell, or some well established Star is

Ben Taylor's podcast and youtube channel is one of the best sports media things out right now.

Basketball breakdown is another one

Zach Lowe podcast is good

Tim Legler is the best NBA analyst on TV, but gets relegated to random slots on ESPN. There are not many good NBA shows on TV, which is why we shyt on this show so hard.

Do NFL and CFB reporters know every single player on every team?
They wouldn't go on TV celebrating that they don't know. That's the issue.

No because NBA is purely entertainment to me. Not gonna waste time about breaking down plays and games, i spend that time learning other things I personally find important/useful.

I feel you, but ...

it is kind of weird when fans know more of who these players are versus people who get paid millions to tell us about the game.

I’m not even saying if it’s justified or not. Just that I see where people are coming from.

Me, myself ... I only know these bench players because I’m a degenerate betting on games lmaoo so I’m not here to judge.
