Lol why not
Can't make a rule then wanna change it cause it suits your favourite player.![]()
and i'm sure there are others who i've named that would play the extra games
but that's my point. The voters knew Kobe was all-NBA material, and he didnt play 65 games at 20 mins every game. He was still worthy of being All-NBA
Same logic here. No one is voting for guys hat played 35 games. Players that managed to play a good majority of the games should get all-NBA, MVP, DPOY, all-defense, etc.
Shaq would lose 4 All-NBA selections (2 first teams) if this rule was in effect. It doesn't make sense, and there isn't a need for it since the voters already took into account games played when they made their selections. Kawhi played 56 games this season and has been phenomenal. He should be all-NBA even though he didn't play a random asspulled number of 65 games
EDIT: The only time a voter tried to make a player All-NBA when they didnt really deserve it was in 2021, when Jalen Rose said he voted for Kyrie. Kyrie only played like 30 games. This is just an example of Jalen being a dunce

The voters always put games played into consideration without the arbitrary "65 games played" rule before
there are seasons where Kobe and Bron played 64 games and still made All-NBA. Hell 55 games of Kobe or Bron is far more impactful than 70 games of some other player, chances are
This rule forces guys to play while injured.
why not? they have in the past
NAH NO ONE SHOULD
MAKE ALL NBA PLAYING
50 SOMETHING GAMES PERIOD.
KAWHI MIGHT NOT EVEN
MAKE THE PLAYOFFS
SO HE DEFINITELY NEEDS TO PLAY
65 GMS TO MAKE HIS CASE.
HE'S ALWAYS FRESHER THAN
EVERYONE ELSE DUE
TO LOAD MANAGEMENT
WHICH HELPS ONE
CONSISTENTLY PUT UP GOOD NUMBERS
OPPOSED TO PLAYING THEOUGH FATIGUE
why not? they have in the past
Again, it's just arbitrary to say 65 games is the quota. Why? because i feel like thats a good number. You're not basing this on any data, just from a "feeling"
Steph was the 8 seed, and lost in the play-in, but was still all-nba first team. Voters need to use their heads and look at the context of the situation, and not shut their brains off like robots.
He isnt losing out from a freak injury on multiple levels:
yeah they're still getting checks, but they're losing out on a LOT of money. the CBA has tied all-NBA selections to this 65 game rule, so players stand to lose a ton of money. Cade shouldn't lose out from a freak injury. Thats the point
i can see why your rep is in the shytter. Players today arent sitting out because they feel like it. They have legitimate injuries keeping them out. Cade isn't load managing, his lung collapsed you dunce cap. You essentially have to play a perfect season. You stupid fukk. They weren’t sitting out games just to sit out games back then. Players only sat out due to legit injuries back then. This is why the rule is in place! Shaq has played over 65 games 10x in his career. Even Yao Ming played over 70 games 4/7 seasons with the Rockets. Miss me with this stupid shyt you chirping about.
the pistons played 65 games, so what you're saying is he had to be damn near perfectHe isnt losing out from a freak injury on multiple levels:
1. He literally is not losing anything like I said
2. Pistons played 65 games before his injury.
3. He still has a chance to get 65 games even with all that.
The money being tied to awards is separate from having a minimum games limit for awards. I don't like how they do the money at all. That said, regardless of how we feel about it, if things are how they are its probably best not to miss games just because. You probably wanna bank those for situations like these.

65 out of 82 is far from perfect. He could've easily had that locked up by now and this would be a non issue. If you can play, you should play. If rest or maintenance is more important then thats cool and you are more than entitled to it...you just put extra money at risk in the event you do actually get hurt. The nikka not getting cut or even losing money, he just might miss out on the most money. Again, if that is so important dont burn so many games for no reason early in the season.the pistons played 65 games, so what you're saying is he had to be damn near perfect
He's expect to miss the rest of the regular season, there are only 9 or 10 games left. He won't make it. Why? because he didn't take into account his lung would collapse in November?![]()
Your not wrong, but you can't make an exception for 1 player. Then pandoras box just swings open

If you get a hamstring injury or calf strain, you're out of the running. The margin is too thin, dumb fukk.

it's 17 games. you can get a hamstring injury, calf injury. or ankle, and that's it. Any lower-body injury will take you out the running.65 out of 82 is far from perfect. no, it's not just about Cade. this is gonna be a recurring thing every year because players get hurt. and this 65 game rule does nothing to address load managementYour not wrong, but you can't make an exception for 1 player. Then pandoras box just swings open
