Go look up the 2018 and 2019 draft classes.

2018:Porter Jr,Bamba,Ayton,Doncic,Bridges,Duval

2019: Bagley jr,Williamnson,brown,langford,bol bol

:wow: perfect time to do this ,all the bulls gotta do is get a top 5 pick next 2 drafts

breh this was one of the deepest drafts in a long time, 2018 looks weak (top heavy) , 2019 is too early for me to really analyze a bunch of highschoolers tho. If we can get Porter then we will still need to wait 3-4 years before he puts on the frame to make us winners. It's gonna be half a decade before we are respectable if hoi-ball doesn't work.

did danny not even call us? I feel like we could've gotten a way better deal for jimmy then what we got. Boston could've given us their pick plus a young stud and some more picks and got jimmy, then signed hayward out right and been a contender to beat cleveland

Horford
Crowder
Hayward
Butler
little zeke

you know Paxson wasn't gonna give Boston a team like that. I'm pretty sure it will come out Boston gave us a better deal but Paxson probably too short sighted to take it. Insteading giving Minny a great deal and handing GSW a pogo stick to play behind Draymond.

300 murders a year
:mjlol:no faith in this front office making that happen:mjcry:
The only thing that makes me feel better about all this is if these clowns get the axe. Right now they chilling, and that sucks

As of right now I see a lot of 20 win seasons, a heavy losing culture approaching , shuffling through prospect after prospect and then when someone finally emerges as a all star, garpax does another half hearted effort to build around them adding 43 year old lebron and 38 year old curry to them , then when that fails we will ship them with our 1st rd pick and start the rebuilding process all over again smh

Everyone around the league knows we needed to rebuild. Money will talk and we'll have the most of it

yep welcome to the Ron mercer era, when we max out middling stars - i fully remember the Bulls in the 2000's , before Deng go there. Eddie Robinson anyone??? Yall seem to have forgotten or too young to remember.

The trade isn't as bad as fans are making it out to be. The only real issue with the trade is giving away the 16th pick instead of just including one of the many point guards we have on our roster since the Wolves are looking to move on from Rubio. I still don't quite understand selling the second round pick, but maybe they take a look at some undrafted players and try to find a gem. Overall I feel like moving on from Jimmy was best for both parties. Bulls can effectively tank and Jimmy doesn't have to worry about being a part rebuilding team. He has two more years left on his deal and I hope when his contract is up he goes to contender.

My guess is with signing Mirotic back they have an extra asset? Hopefully they're exploring the trade market for guys like Lopez and Felicio.

the trade is horrible unless , if, maybe ....those are the words being thrown around

unless Dunn shows he belongs
If Lavine is 100% healthy
Maybe Lauri is better than we think

We know what Butler brings to the table and we gave that up for a bunch of "conjunctions"

That Markaannen kid 7 foot offensively looking like dirk.He will not be mcdermott 2.0.,he's 7 feet with a quick release he also moves like a guard.I suggest y'all watch footage he has flaws with rebounding(doesn't like to bang) and defense but he's one of the most offensively skilled 7 footers I've seen in a years.

so you want our center to be floating around the perimeter right?

have no problem with that, but our team isn't built for that. I need to see Hoi-ball work but he would have been great for a GSW or Boston.

I just don't wanna see us on the perimeter hoisting 3's and being out rebounded and out toughed...that's not Bulls basketball

You can make the same case for "building around Butler" too. We don't know who's coming to the Bulls or how they fit with Butler. You're just being overly pessimistic cause you're emotional.

I'll accept it long as they are gone.To me that's the ultimate goal right now secure top 10 pick Hoijoke fired Garpax fired revamped front office new direction& a ton of cap space we can only hope. Its all we got left:mjcry:

This was not a smart job saving move for GarPax. Theres a big chance that all 3 of these guys end up getting exposed as non-starters. Make things worse we're going to have to pay Lavine after a year coming off an injury so itll be hard to tell what hes worth.

We also can evaluate if hoiball can actually work since this lineup is much more suited to his coaching style. Theres a lot of ways that GarPax can be exposed in a way that I dont believe even Jerrys bytchass can ignore.

If they can draft Bamba or one of the many PFs in next years draft having a soft C like Lauri isn't that big of an issue.

you doubt he get's maxed? Based on what?

He will get max or close to the max, you know some a$$hole team will give it to him too - off potential. You remember Asik? He wasn't supposed to get a max deal either. I could go down the list, someone will take a flyer on Lavine.

i actually am appalled at your optimism on this. Most people say a full year but you think he will be back sooner (which he may), you aslo don't think he will get a max deal, and then mention the bulls will have more space when they show themselves to be cheap a$$holes.

The salary cap.Over a 3rd of the league will be capped out in 2018 or real close. The Bulls will have more dough than anybody they can take on contracts for picks, sign fa's, match offers they can do whatever they want.If lavine gets a max so be it you gotta spend the money regardless.A 23-24 year old on a max deal is never a bad thing. They can also extend him this summer on a discount while he's injured.

I been wanting to rebuild ever since the bulls lost game 6 to the cavs. It's about time the fo realized it,I have no problem watching them tank and seeing the young players develop.

Top heavy and the bulls will be bottom 5 in the league.Assuring them a top 4-5 pick.Bulls will probably be one of the worst teams in the east

It's been half a decade since the bulls been respectable regardless. They haven't been contenders since 2012.Everything after that was overachieving inconsistent or ugly basketball

They still have lopez and I want players with offensive skills who can shoot,Markannenan has that I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I do expect the bulls to be defensively awful next season.

We had the answer to that problem last night
This why the j bell move was :mindblown:dude was our defensive beast...They love niko that much:damn:

Now they gotta waste a future pick on something they would've had already :aicmon:

Eh, Bell's ceiling is low, the guys coming out in next years draft that can play the 4 are multi-dimensional.

I'd much rather have a shot at him playing the 4, than worrying about Jordan Bell.
