Cuz one is 22 wit upside who can shoot in a league where it's essential to be able to shoot that is gonna be part of a core, the other is 28 and would get a super max contract that would have the bulls as a treadmill team for 5 years.You aint winning shyt with a non superstar player taking up 35-40% of the cap, jimmy was great but not worth that if he was the bulls wouldn't have lost 4 games in a row to a 1 seed everyone called weak.Y'all need to get over or go fukk with a another team.

I get that the FO is mess, but yall gotta chill with pessimism. Yall being too nitpicky with everything right now. Lavine will not be out that long, hell the latest he'll return will probably be in November if even that late. Do yall not understand how dumb it will look if they decide not to commit Lavine? They traded their only superstar for him and he's pretty much the center piece of trade since he's the best player we got back in the trade. I'm not a fan of the FO, but I'm still rooting for our players to do well especially Lavine and Dunn.
I won't be able to really get on board until Payne in the ass is gone...

Bunch of lies being spoken in here. The Bulls has been a treadmill team due to bad GMing. When we traded McRoberts for what turned out to be two really good players that woukd have commented Jimmy Butler well. Hanging on to mirotic too long and just not making significant moves when they were available. The fact we even were playoff bound with one Superstar when teams with better stars can't even sniff the playoffs shows you how important Butler is and could have been .
But we traded that for a bunch of unknowns and what ifs. I hope lavine balls out, but Butler also improved his shot a lot so to act like he couldn't shoot is wild

Nurkic a defensive liability who has been traded already on his rookie contract who got bushed & replaced by a 2nd round pick & gary harris is a solid role player
Stop crying about it & move it.Bulls were 42-40 and missed the playoffs & 41-41 and barely made the playoffs that's a treadmill team.When they were a 3rd seed and couldn't even beat the cavs without love and with kyrie hobbled it was a wrap.They just took 2 years too long to finally blow it up,you don't super max a 2nd tier star pushing 30.
