The issue is folks think its a romantic thing, get into it and see the work required and the accountability associated and run away (see the divorce rates). first thing you need to do is quit calling yourself ugly, get that shyt out your head for a start. in most cases, you need to love yourself first and foremost before someone else loves you. the second thing you need to remember is never be too eager, never overly complement a woman. you want to keep her wondering if you like her to catch her interest in the first place, so at least try to keep some mystique about you but still show you like her by talking to her, ask her questions about herself, but not too many, just be cool about it. also, respect the women you talk to, don’t be a jack ass .. and lastly, don’t give up on finding someone if that’s what you really want, if you get rejected brush it off and move on .. there’s always someone out there for someone, breh
