the way things are now, every website gets to you at the fastest speed that site can get it to you.
if net neutrality is killed, your internet service provider can slow down how fast a site can get to you.

problem is that the companies that provide you with internet may also control the content you consume.
that means they can slow the speed of content providers you like but they compete with.

it's like if i owned a bridge but i also owned a brick business that carried bricks over the bridge.
there are also several other brick companies that crossed my bridge.
of course i'm gonna let my bricks over my bridge first...but...if you want those other bricks, you have to pay more for them.

who's bricks are you gonna get if you are poor?
and if you can afford my bricks, then you may not care about the problems of people who can't.

by slowing the speed of your competitors, you decrease the number of people who have access.
get a strangle hold on information.

If only there was a spokesperson to go against the grain of how Net Neutrality can do harm to the internet ala how Fred Rogers was kicking game on the importance of public broadcasting. Then again in this era of suckers and instagram moguls, might as well just pray on it or go the old fashion route (reading a book).
