It's the basketball hall of fame not the nba they look at whole body of work and what you did for the game. Eight time all star, 25k points, arguably the best dunker ever, Olympic gold medalist. He doesn't have the strongest resume for a hall of famer but he's definitely got a solid argument on why he should be in.He's not a Hall Of Famer. The highlight of his career is a dunk contest

I don't see a player in any other sport not getting in with those stats. Like in the "hard" MLB HoF, like everyone in the top 50 of most hits, RBIs etc. is in the the HoF. Except those that allegedly cheated.

Dude was washed by 2015, didn't even average double figures in any of his last 6 seasons
Nothing about his career says Hall of Famer
Playing in the nba for 22 seasons is an amazing record.
All-time records matter not only peak numbers, I don’t make the rules
He was 37-43 years old in his last 6 seasons. It's rare for most players to average double figures at that stage of their career.
