Pat Bev didn't play but he would've helped out big time in this game. Reggie was good in the first half and parts of the second but he's not suppose to close the game. That's on Lou Will and Kennard but Lou is looking washed and Kennard, who's supposed to break out this season, isn't used to big games since his days at Duke and now looks to be in the doghouse
The way yall paid that white boy money before the ink even dried from the trade... unless this is somehow setting him up as future trade bait, i dunno what the logic was.

True.. but its still a doable deal because his last year on the contract is a team option. So the deal is actually 3 years $46 million and it becomes a 4 year $64 million deal only if he plays well enough to keep around

Here’s the trend I’ve noticed:

Beverly (your team’s perfect cog at point guard)

  • was injured all throughout last season pre-COVID stoppage
  • had several months to get healthy pre-bubble and still ended up injured in the bubble
  • had several more months to get healthy after an early exit, yet 20 games into this season he’s still injured
  • All your alternatives are trash (Lou, Reggie, Luke, Mann). They seriously bring y’all down in their own unique but equally garbage way
A betting man would say Pat ain’t gonna make it through this season/post season without the wheels coming off, yet again.

I guess Luke was supposed to be this insurance policy.. but y’all may need to just package all them muthafukkas for something of value

Yeah, Pat Bev can't stay healthy for shyt and he's been playing good this year too. We'll see what we do. Give it a few more games. Maybe Kennard comes around and Lou plays better. If not maybe a trade is on the table by the deadline

Nets gonna have a line of vets at their door when these buyouts start.
Duncd on made a good point about the play-in games affecting buyouts. Normally teams are out of playoff contention so theyd be more willing to let guys go. However all you need to be is a 10th seed, so teams might not be willing to buy guys out
