Bernie fans. Answer me a few questions.

Why should college be a "right" without exceptions across the board? We already have an issue with college graduates not being able to find a job in the first place. Secondly, why should tax payers bare the burden of paying for someone going into say...classical literature only to work as a barista because their degree has no real world application? They will fail to contribute to the same system that paid for their education and secondly it just seems like a waste of money.

I can understand for skilled labor related jobs, subsidizing it, but throwing money into someone studying bullshyt is a waste of money.

The college degree is pretty useless nowadays. Doesn't make sense to spend a fortune to get an education, only to come out with a mountain of debt and no real prospects to pay them off.

Only reason Bernie getting that young vote is cuz of the empty promises, they hear free college and minimum wage at 15... They need to realize if u want to get paid u are gonna have to work for it.... These kids nowadays want everything easy and free, generation being raised by the Internet :snoop:

I don't understand you people. If you prefer Hillary it's one thing, but none of the people that I know that actually have a pulse on politics and the youth are acting like this. Sanders or Clinton supporter, none of them gloat when the other wins or tries to insult the other because they know the other side is needed to win. They also know that a Sanders-like supporter is the future (as in the next election-cycle forward). I told you guys she would win here earlier because of the unions, but union density is at an all time low. That and regular churchgoers. So two things that are decreasing. Also, older voters.

I get that you guys are watching this as political theater, but the Sanders demographic has to be engaged to win this election and everyone going forward. If they give up hope--and they are really hurting (the least optimistic generation in decades)--then the Democratic Party is fukked. We talk about how stupid the tea party is but if the Republican Party had not acquiesced to some degree, they would have fukked up their turnout. When will Democrats do the same thing? Hillary just won Nevada with only 20% of the voters thinking she gives a fukk about them. I mean goodness. Your strategy is, "She doesn't give a fukk about me, but she's better than the other guys." How long is that tenable?
you're manipulating the meaning of that poll. 20% think she cares about them vs bernie.

Second question. Do you realize that the president is only one part of the three part system of government? Don't you realize that someone like Bernie who seem to be a staunch uncompromising believer will more than likely not get any of his ideas passed through congress? Either that, or he will change his positions in order to actually get work done which will leave you sad.

Answer those questions and maybe you'll convince me that Hillary isn't the better choice for Democrats (relatively speaking) than Bernie Sanders.

You have to be smart in what you are investing yourself in, I invested in education but I went the medical route and it's paying off, I have no problem paying off my student loan

Well replies like this one becomes obvious to me who are the serious folks and who are just in it for the fukkery.

There is a time to "just watch it all burn" but in a situation like I described, I have to wonder if you have any perception of the future or just chasing an emotional high that you get from watching the drama of "it all burning down". That is short lived but laws that get passed like restricting voting rights is not.

What is the end goal?

You didn't answer my post to your Bernie fans questions :sas1:

Anyway, I don't care, Hillary is going to dominant some pseudo neo liberal judge who will do just enough to advance progressive social policies why expanding neo-liberal economic and politic policies (I care about those more)

Id rather nikkas learn the hard way about things and stop being so damn stupid :manny:

These old ass nikkas are betraying our generation with their votes.
In all seriousness, this is very true. Our parents and grandparents generations(I'm 26) have already fukked things up for us. They have literally destroyed the world( about half of Americans still don't believe climate change).

And even after all of that they still want to have pragmatic candidates:aicmon:

It's not funny anymore. I might vote for him now. If Bernie is no longer viable I might go for 4 years of Trump so we can get a real democrat candidate who is reasonably honest, has a consistent record that is at least not ANTI-black, a quality vision for the now, tomorrow and the future beyond that AND has supporters that aren't voting because of some dumb shyt identity politics.

:what: So your going to accomplish this by voting for someone who is pandering to white nationalists:patrice:

In all honesty....bernie's margins aren't to be ignored. Dude is getting SERIOUS traction out here
i appreciate his role in this election cycle. he's keeping her honest and making sure she doesn't stray too far to the right. without him, she'd probably be running a totally different campaign.
