One of the reasons why I'm glad they made the new movies is so that GT can Officially be viewed as Non Canon. Nobody viewed them as Canon in the first place but thats the nail in the coffin

Hold up, folks are really saying the soundtrack in the "original" (funimation) DBZ dub is better?!

To OP, stick to Kai uncut. Better translation, straight to the point, and imo the soundtrack fits the show much much better.
First time I saw DBZ was the euro version, which uses the original Japanese soundtrack. The funimation soundtrack sounds bizzare tbh.

Yup. Toonami man every afternoon once school was out. That's how me and my boys got up on DBZ so to us, that sounds proper. The japanese cuts I have on dvd took a minute to adjust to

Yep. In the new Xenoverse game, there's a GT pack (where you play scenarios from GT and get some of the GT characters), but Trunks flat out says that GT is an alternate timeline that he accidentally created by time traveling. I can roll with that.
Trunks also thinks his GT counterpart is lame as hell.

The way the eps in Kai were broken up and put together bugged. Hated how the animation style changed throughout the ep.
