Where is this Pattinson is a bad actor stuff coming from? He's been great for years. As for Batman, he's completely fukking unhinged and Gotham looks like a god-damn war zone. He looks perfect for the setting.

I hope they touch on this. If it's beginning of career, "I've yet to start lifting weights like that, struggling to hide my psychosis Batman/Bruce", I'm with it. Bruce here looks un-Bruce-like so far, but I'm with it if they're finally exploring that angle of Bruce being slightly mentally off...that a normal, well-adjusted person doesn't dress up like a bat and play vigilante. THAT real Bruce is very much coming out in the trailer, but not the playboy billionaire disguise of Batman.

meh....i think in my lifetime in on like my 7th batman in the movies...seems like they reboot this franchise every 5 years...i get that it's the flagship characters of the DC universe...but can't they build on someone else other than the same Batman/Superman shyt twice a decade?

For me it was a wrap after Christopher Nolan's series....couldn't be done any better than that imo

The one thing I've yet to see Marvel do, outside of Netflix, is go hardcore. If Blade is PG-13, I'm out. We've already seen what happens when they made Blade PG-13 in Blade 3. shyt was garbage.

With DC, they've shown they can do it all.

I want all comic book companies to be successful. I wish they would have let Zach finish his story even in an HBO Max joint and just have Flash reboot it by fukkin up the timeline. But apparently that's what they are doing with the Flash movie.

DC's movies have been successful in their own right for a minute. The only one to me that was complete ass was the original Justice League, but they cut 90% of what Snyder shot and it showed. His version is in my top 10 comic movies ever.

This new Batman looks flames and could top Dark Knight.

Yeah, definitely the leadership direction has held them back from doing what Marvel did.

Even in the comics. DC kept rebooting their universe, making the history impossible for a regular person and even fans to decipher, and cheapened their stories. Marvel has had an unbroken line of stories since the 60's, and had a laser focus in getting as many of its characters as possible in the public eye.

Definitely paid off when the movies popped off. DC could've made so many of its characters household names through projects, but they pushed Batman at all costs while something like Guardians of the Galaxy popped.

Additionally, DC needs to come out and confirm they're done with the snyderverse and that shyt. It's confusing as fukk. Definitely gonna cost them like Suicide Squad did, the general audience just doesn't know what's going on.
