i think your incredibly bitter towards NYC, mostly media based in NYC, and it crossed over into musical tastes. thats a shame
Not true at all. The first 3 albums i ever owned were all east coast. Since then i've purchased a number of east coast albums. some of which that werent popular at all lke the Youngstas illy funkstaz. And Rotten raskalz.. Starting In 89' i had hiphop posters all over my room. Most of which were east coast early on.
It's a KNOWN fact that east coast was hating hard.
Certain east coast purists refuse to acknowledge how this hate has tainted their judgement . It has them believing meh albums were better and meant more than they actually were or did.
This is why people like combat whom wrote:

"I listened to his first lp, “2Pacalypse Now”, released in 1991, and believe me when I emphatically say that that album sounds like pure effin garbage and I’m somewhat pissed off that I shelled out some of my hard earned cash on this piece of possum shyt. There’s like no decent sounding track on it and I can’t decipher what’s worse, his feeble attempt to rhyme or the piss poor sub par production. Even the “breakout” hit single “Brenda’s Got A Baby” was pure kaa kaa, but being that that was like the first rap song dedicated in it’s entirety to every hood rat ghetto single mother across the country, it was deemed to be prolific by every baby momma alive. Eff that, that shyt was weak by any hip hop classic standard"

"It’s going on four years since Byron Crawford posted my exclusive drop where I exposed Tupac Shakur as being way overrated. At the time, mad fatherless “thug lifers” the world over commented in anger and disbelief as to how I had the cojones to blasphemously prove their rap idol false. My how things have changed. With regard to Mr. Shakur, it seems as if even the most die hard of ‘Pac stans have come to their senses and have moved on."

@CombatJack is the epitome of a east coast playa hater and nikkas like him fuel my fire.
Because he;s one of many whom have tried to undermine anything not east coast or jocking the east coast sound.

This "man" dismissed all of 2pac's work and just the other day called Stunts blunts and hiphop A CLASSIC. I listened to the album today. It's far from a classic and very forgettable.
