New Gen graphics is flabby

It's 2013, and we still get these sub par in game graphics.
There is nothing "next gen" about these new games. Graphics like these were on PC like 3 years ago.
10000000% agree, every other gen blew me away, this gen im looking like
been seen this shyt before.

Yeah. That's why I'm not in a rush to get a next gen console. I'm sure we all remember Madden 06 on the xbox 360.

I remember reading somewhere that the jump from this gen to the next won't be as drastic as the last one. Honestly I'd rather have them focus on getting more games running at 60 FPS consistently while allowing more on screen. I'm just glad that the console versions of BF4 are getting 66 players in one game.
While I understand that the best stuff will come later, I still was unimpressed with just about everthing I saw graphics wise. Now, The Division is the game I want above all others, but there was nothing there that jumped out as being THAT great. But its an MMO so I'm cool. Overall though, I can't say I'm that excited for the visuals.

when showing future technology it should be things you can't have/use/play in the present. and all the shyt they showed we can play to that level right now

The PC didnt use to get the same games as consoles. So even when the PC was more powerful their wasn't a direct comparison to be made.
Doom and Quake were not possible on consoles when they released. Hell consoles couldn't even run Myst. But now you are seeing the exact same games going against one another so the difference is quite evident.
