New Gen graphics is flabby

this is a lie, when xbox360 dropped i was blown away, sheeeet even when dreamcast dropped wit soul calibur i was like doggie when ps2 dropped i lost my mind, fan even when super nintendo dropped wit star fox it blew me away. all on release day

man we were still getting games heavily loaded with polygons during that ps2 era so i guezz its whatever

Graphically, I think this will be the smallest jump between generations. I can see this generation being mostly about frame rate, and game play capabilities.

That hasn't been true in a long, long time. 99% of the shyt on consoles is on PCs. Hell for some of the next gen titles like "Watch Dogs" PC is the lead format.

Because in the history of tech demos and preview trailers and "game play footage" shown at various conventions the final result NEVER LOOKS LIKE the delivered product.

When you can show me some live game play video that looks like the demo I'll be impressed.

Don't know how much different it could look from what the people at E3 got to see. If anything it would look even better

yeah, from what i've seen, the graphics aren't that much more impressive yet to warrant a purchase. the jump from 2 to 3 was alot more noticeable. this time i think it will just be more attention to detail and the ai will be way more intelligent. as far as the pc gamers go, yeah the pc games do look better, but i'm not going to waste my time constantly upgrading my pc to keep up, and besides i just like picking up a controller and not having to set it up. i do play pc games and rom when my kid and my fiance are controlling the console, but its not my first choice for gaming.

echoing what others have said, the real graphically advanced games wont release till at least a year after launch. that's been the case for a while.

These tech demos mean nothing since they are run under ideal conditions. Once you add the 1000 other elements that go into a game (texture streaming, AI, lighting etc) the real thing doesn't look nearly as good.
