Jersey Nets fan here. I have a few friends who are Nets fans as well and stayed with them through the move to Brooklyn. We all wish they were still at the Prudential Center but understand that them staying there was always a pipe dream. If another team moved to Jersey we'd definitely consider switching allegiance but it's not like the Nets aren't very accessible to where I live.

In North Jersey I'd argue you'd find more Nets fans than Knicks between ages 24-32. Those who grew up with and remember the early 2000s Nets when they were consistently good and the Knicks were consistently disappointing at best and trash at worst.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
NY is the one who gets bytched. All the revenue is going to NJ. New yorkers go buy gas, cars, and clothes in NJ. NJ be eating off New Yorkers everything expensive as fukk here.
A big portion of people in Northern NJ are employed in NYC. Especially in fashion and big time companies.

The Path train and NJIT trains are probably just as crowded if not moreso than the NYC subway!

But shopping in NJ is no different than shopping in Long Island, or Westchester County. Just typical suburban shopping.

I'm sure most nikkas in Camden,Trenton, were Sixer fans growing up..

I'm was a Nets fan on NJ and still are in Brooklyn. But I can say as a lifelong resident of the state that we didn't deserve to keep that team. NJ is a football state really. We didn't go to the games even when the Nets were competitive.

I remember when the Nets seemed to really have it popping, with Chuck Daly coaching and they had Kenny Anderson, Derrick Coleman and Drazen Petrovic. When they played the Knicks, even then, at least half the crowd would be Knicks fans who crossed the river for cheaper tickets lol

It's sickening.. But most from Jersey are ashamed & have no pride in their home state. They rather dikkride NY & Philly. Craziest ish ever. Devils & Nets winning actually pissed ppl from NJ off - bc ppl from Jersey love to associate & rep the states next to us. No pride here. I kno ppl from NJ who have Philly phone numbers - just to make it seem like they are from there
