He was trying to argue that he's a bigger expert on gun safety than me because he got shot when he got a gun pulled on him and I didn't. :lolbron:

That was killing me too. :dead:

Duke football player critically injured in jet-ski accident

Pacquiao got shoulder injury riding a jet ski in Gensan

If I had a pistol on me, I wouldn't have got shot. You can't tell me about MY experience with firearms

My point still stands. The NBA can't prevent or tell players that they can't legally own a firearm. :manny:

You nikkaz will continue to be frustrated :manny:

I'm right :manny:

Im pretty sure the agreement is about both non-registered, illegal gats....they cant stop players from buying and carrying legal guns. This is just to protect against Gilbert Arenas or Plaxico Burress type fuccra....so if a player does some fucc shyt with a gat, they can void the contract.

Some of y'all need to get a clue

Cleanthony Early and Derrick Williams got robbed already so its not like all of a sudden, players are gonna become fish food

But nowhere in the article was this stated as a provision. You started your own argument, for no reason. The main argument was about the "etc." point is that gun ownership surely puts you at risk to violate it.. As been said countless times, Gilbert Arenas' contract would've been voided with this CBA in place.

You mean your experiences without firearms? :umad:

You don't know what the hell would have happened if you'd had a gun. You'd probably have gotten your ass shot quicker. I know that hundreds of millions of people navigate their lives every day without packing heat and don't get themselves shot, I know that every bit of data out there shows that people packing get themselves killed more than people who aren't packing, and I know that some fool's hypothetical "if only I'd had a gun!" imaginary scenario isn't swaying anyone's mind. :heh:

NFL don't need it, they can just rip up your contract and throw you in the bushes if they want to.

The NBA didn't have it in an agreement like the MLB doesn't....then Gilbert Arenas happened. Let Clayton Kershaw shoot himself in the hand rendering himself useless for a season and damaged thereafter whilst making $30M a year and I bet they'd put a clause in the next CBA too

No they wouldn't because them good old boys not gonna stand for being unable to shoot some deer in the offseason. MLB players riding jet skis, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, and doing whatever the hell they want because they have a strong union and it's not seen as a black league.

You have no personal experience with a gun protecting you. You admitted yourself that you only imagined what would have happened in such an experience.

Ok, now you're just assuming and making stupid claims that you know nothing about :mjlol:

Let's see if you'll dodge this yes or no question:

Do you know for a fact that I haven't used a gun to protect myself? Yes or no :lupe:

The Constitution is not really relevant to the discussion of the firearm portion and if it were litigated it would likely revolve around anti-discrimination law. I looked it up and while there is no federal statute protecting gun owners in relation to employment discrimination, there are several state statutes that protect employees from being restricted from purchasing and owning guns by their employer. There are also states where you are prohibited from even asking employees if they own any firearms. So if some player wanted to make a big deal out of it, they probably could at some point.
