The Constitution has no bearing on this issue because it is not a government preventing firearms from being purchase. Private non governmental parties are not specifically limited by the Constitution. I suspect the NRA would try a bullshyt Commerce Clause argument or something similar just because they're idiots, but even the most excessive reach of the most nebulous interpretation of Constitutional restrictions would not apply here, especially since there is no state action involved.
