but regardless..Cube is a legend in my books! But Mel, your posts entertains me even though i may disagree with some of those opinions!

Ice Cube had more influence on my youth than any other musician. He was my idol. That's why his falloff stung particularly bad for me. i sensed chinks in the armor on Predator but there was still a handful of the most blistering songs of the year on it (plus Da Lench Mob album was BANANAS!). By the time of Lethal Injection i was just giving him passes out of respect but he was clearly flabby and sick juxtaposed with the shyt Snoop & the Dogg Pound were cooking.

i STILL can't believe people even liked let alone thought Westside Connection was classic and it has absolutely nothing to do with the east coast dissing and everything to do with second rate synthy, post death row imitation beats and washed up rapping.

I agree plenty of that..but i never threw negativity on him post lethal..i still supported the brother then slowly moved on.
