Thanks. Sometimes I wonder what could happen to a formerly rundown city that is now 'thriving' if a remaining or even a new problem is left to get worse, ie. the extreme gentrification of New York.

No, socialism WITHOUT wealthy people paying their fair share of taxes are the problem. Even Warren Buffet said that his secretary pay more in taxes than he does, in terms of percentage of their annual income.

the rich don't have enough wealth for the government to tax, to cover these promises politicians have made

im all for taxing the rich more, but it isn't enough deblasio can rob every millionaire in the state of their money and it won't cover NY's debt. you have to cut spending and pension obligations. it's the sad reality

NYC is 120 billion dollars in debt. that's not just sitting in rich peoples bank accounts
