NYC was segregated as fukk back then. Seinfeld and Friends was accurate.

The area around the WTC is still like that today. Same goes for Manhattan between 59th and 96th street or so (Not counting Central Park which is diverse)

Between Canal and 59th you'll always see Black People around as that part of Mantthan is what NY..... NY.

Wish I had some video from my visit back in '95.......almost got lost when my family walked outside and left me in a store in Manhattan. Streets was packed Almost had my own personal home alone moment.
